Klunivo grew from seeing how much work happens around a class, before anyone starts training. I wanted the information needed by a parent, coach and receptionist to remain connected as a participant moves through the club.
A participant, a parent and a software builder
I’m Patryk Szindler. I have worked in IT, development and testing for more than ten years. I train Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and my children train BJJ and judo. That gives me several perspectives on the same organisation: the person arriving for training, the parent handling enrolment and the person thinking about how software can support the work.
The recurring problem was rarely a lack of commitment from the club. It was information spread across forms, spreadsheets, messages and bank transfers. Each tool covered one task, while someone on the team had to reconnect the details by hand.
Sometimes a payment problem is an information problem
A friend once forgot a standing order and accumulated about PLN 1,200 in unpaid fees. He wanted to settle the amount, yet had to ask for the bank-account details three times. The lesson was not that every late payment has the same cause. It was that a willing member can still struggle to complete an ordinary administrative task.
I saw a similar pattern around camps. Registration, payments and messages could live separately. An unpaid reservation might occupy a place while another family was ready to confirm. The organiser needed a current participant record with the relevant status, not another disconnected list.
Keep the history together so people can act
Klunivo connects members and families, groups, schedules, services, attendance, communication and other club workflows. Reception should be able to answer in the context of the right person. Coaches should have the information needed for their classes. Parents should not have to manage a separate login for every child.
The product supports those relationships. It does not replace a coach’s judgement or tell a club why a member has stopped training. If someone who usually attends several times a week disappears for two weeks, the record can prompt a helpful question. The person’s answer still matters.
Build around the full member relationship
I describe this connected journey through PUO: Acquire, Retain, Win Back. It is Klunivo’s practical organising approach, not a scientific certification or a promise of a particular business result.
Klunivo continues to develop with input from clubs and their daily work. The aim is to make the operational record useful enough that people can spend more attention on teaching, training and the relationship with their members.
